Bishop Johnny L Weatherbe, D.D.

Bishop Weatherbe is the eldest son of the late Johnny L. Weatherbe and Elder Rosa Weatherbe. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of the Agape’ Love Ministries Church, Inc. headquartered in Philadelphia, Pa. The Bishop’s wife, Barbara, is the Co-Pastor of Agape’ Love and all four of their children are active in ministry (Shanita, Johnny III, Michael, and Christopher).

Bishop Weatherbe has received numerous awards and honors over the years for his service to the Community and the Body of Christ at-large. A perfect example lies in his commitment to the Ruwach United Fellowship since its infancy. Bishop Weatherbe believes in Ruwach’s purpose and is devoted to the mandate that God has set for the organization.

Bishop Weatherbe’s calling is “to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery” - Ephesians 3:9. He understands that no man is an entity within himself alone. He declares that it is through unity and giving back to the Body of Christ, that which God has invested in us, that we truly live. A person is only delivered, or set free or healed, to the degree of the word manifested in himself. It is with this conviction that Bishop Weatherbe has dedicated his life to Jesus Christ and the purpose of making men see for the advancement and building of the Kingdom of God.
