Bishop Howard Jones, Sr.

Whether ministering in the pulpit or the playground, Pastor Jones demonstrates an unequivocal love for bringing lost souls into the Kingdom of Christ by his life example of servitude to the ministry and to others.

Pastor Jones started True Fellowship in his mother’s living room with only 4 members. The church has since grown to nearly 200 members. He has established an array of ministries in the church to holistically meet the needs of the community as well as those in the pews, including Training for Service, Outreach, Shield and Armor (Addictions Ministry), Music Ministry, Youth Ministry, Prayer Ministry, and distributing food and clothing to those in need.

Pastor Jones has studied at various institutions to advance his knowledge of the Word of God and most recently earned a Doctorate of Divinity from Jamieson School of Theology. He is also an active member of the Philadelphia Police Clergy. Pastor Jones is a devoted and loving husband to his wife of 26 years Cora, and their three children, Eleasa, Howard Jr., and Daniel.
